We hold distribution days once or twice a month, where we distribute 150-200 beds to Kansas City kids and their families. Distribution days are scheduled on both weekdays and Saturdays.

For each distribution day, we need 5-8 volunteers. All volunteers need to be able to lift and move mattresses (with a partner!) to a client’s vehicle. Some volunteers may be asked to handle data entry, distribute bedding (pillows, sheets & blankets), or help with other logistics. On Saturdays, volunteers need to show up at 8:00 a.m. and are generally finished by no later than 11:30 a.m. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent. Our weekday distributions are held 9am till 3pm and offer two volunteer shifts.
This is a great way to serve your community. We welcome individual volunteers but are also looking for groups (churches, clubs, social organizations, businesses) who can provide all the assistance we need for a single distribution day.
