We’ll contact you to discuss the next steps for pick up or drop off.  Currently we are only scheduling pick up service for twin and full size mattresses and box springs.  We appreciate when you can drop your donations to us at our downtown warehouse.  Bedding and new pillows can be dropeed off at any SleepOne Mattress Superstore.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are acceptable donations?

We request that donated beds and bedding fall into the “gently used” category. Mattresses should be safe and in a useable condition. If you have specific questions regarding what is acceptable, please contact us.

Is there an application process?

We have no formal application process. If there is a child that needs a bed, we’ll make sure he get one.

Where do you pick up and deliver?

We pick up and deliver beds in the Kansas City metro area. Email us to schedule a pick up.

How do you sanitize the beds?

Each mattress is fully sanitized before it leaves our facility. We use SteriFab, a non-residual, biodegradable sanitizer that is effective against fungus, mold, mildew, bed bugs, dust mites, fleas, lice, ticks and more. It is one of the only non-residual sanitizers labeled for use on mattresses. We also clean each mattress with a special UV vacuum.

Are there tax deductions?

All donations to Sleepyhead Beds are tax deductible.
